For over 35 years I was in a professional position where initially we had to wear suits, stockings and closed toed shoes. Then pants to jumpers so I moved to leggings or knee highs. Then, about 10 years ago, I retired.Since then I’ve had “happy feet” and worn these sandals with rare exception, daily even to church, and over our mostly temperate winters. I live in NC.Since I wear them daily I have purchased in orange, blue , purple and black. Not at the same time but at least a new pair annually.The straps allow for adjusting as needed, the sandals are sturdy and supportive, and my feet need some support and cushioning these have fit the bill. I love them.I do check for sales, as the sandal is $80. But for my purposes as a grandmother of two boys (4 and 15 months) who lives in various long handkerchief dresses a scarf for color, with a tunic and long leggings in the winter and shorter ones in the spring & summer, these sandals are perfect.BTW they have traveled with me to Italy on a few trips where for three weeks one year they walked all over the Amalfi coast, Rome and Umbria, on another all over Rome and parts of Tuscany. Think you’ll be pleased.
